Nestled in the beautiful Franconia Notch State Park in New Hampshire, Cannon Mountain is steeped in American history since its opening as a ski resort in the 1930’s. With four mountains to ski and no blackouts, you will find hills for every experience level. There are over 285 acres of skiable terrain. The longest run is 2.3 miles long and there are 11 different lifts to try.

Cannon Mountain has three terrain parks with versatile options. The first is Huckerbrook, this is a small terrain park that is perfect for learning and progression. The second is Parkway which has medium sized jumps and has a flowly narrow style slope. The third is Tossup the flagship park it’s highly recognized for the large size and power build up. The perfect park for skilled skiers and snowboarders.

If you are need of rental equipment get it from one of three great companies.  If you’re traveling Route 93 on the way to Cannon Mountain, take Exit 28 and you’ll hit pay dirt on a ski rental shop with the same name. Cannon Mountain also has events going on all season long that are family friendly. Every Saturday until late February is family fun night, located at the Peabody Base Area from 4:30pm – 6:30pm. Check the events calendar on Cannon’s website for many more great times on the mountain.
