Are You Ready For The X Games in Aspen?

It’s that time of year again when the X Games are coming to Aspen Snowmass again! Start booking your lodging now if you are interested in going because last years attendance was over 100,000 people. That is a lot of bodies all around Aspen, Colorado at the same time.

The event entails a mix of Snowboard qualifying rounds/slopestyle/big air/superpipe, Skiing qualifying rounds/ slopestyle/big air/superpipe, Snowmobiling freestyle, and speed & style, and Snow Bike Cross along with the best Snow Bike Trick. The Special Olympics Unified Snowboarding will be there the first day of the X Games. These are both men and woman so there will be two for each category of event.

In between all of these epic athletes competing you have concerts for entertainment. Martin Garrix (House Electronic DJ) will be there Friday, January 26th performing at 9:30 pm. On Saturday there will be two performances the first performers will be Method Man and Redman (Rap Artists) at 5:30 pm and the second performance will be LCD Soundsystem (Dance Rock Group) at 9:30 pm. The last day will be Marshmello (Electronic Future Bass DJ) performing at 4:30 pm.

Now you know the schedule for the X Games where are you going to stay there for 3 nights? First, take a look at the Aspen lodging, here.

If you can’t find anything there check out the neighboring towns around Aspen. The closest resort is Snowmass, CO, then possibly check the next bigger city near Aspen. Glenwood Springs is about 30 minutes away from Aspen which might be your best bet.
