Attitash Ski Vacation Guide

Attitash is a ski resort that truly offers it all, giving you and the skiers that you know the wide variety needed to truly enjoy a vacation. Located in the Mount Washington Valley, the resort offers two mountains with over 270 acres of beautiful snowy landscape.

Ski Levels

Skiers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels will do well here. There are 100 different ski trails available to those who love to get in their runs on fresh powder. As far as slopes are concerned, there are 20 beginner slopes and 47 intermediate slopes. Advanced skiers will find 33 slopes, while experts will find 15. Attitash is truly the perfect ski experience for all types of skiers. Those who are serious about skiing will find the double black diamonds they crave. Beginners will be able to find ski lessons provided by welcoming, understanding, and helpful staff members. This truly is one of the top ski resort destinations in the region.

Après Ski

There are two main lodging options for you to consider, located right at the base of the two mountains. The Attitash Grand Summit Hotel and the Attitash Mountain Village Resort both offer a wide variety of rooms, helping individuals of all budgets to find the stay that they need.

There are also plenty of different dining options both on and off the resort area. Those looking to stay in the area will find plenty of options at Ptarmigans, Lion’s Den, and Crawford’s Pub and Grill. Each of these dining establishments feature fair prices and incredible food. Other restaurants can be found in the nearby towns of Bartlett, Jackson, Glen, and North Conway, all located in the Mount Washington Valley.

Rider’s Guide

This area is known for being one large place to snowboard, thanks to the two different mountains and over 60 snowboarding trails in the area. Remember to layer up, as you’re going to need different levels of coverage with the altitude differences between the two different mountains.

Parks and Pipes

The parks available at Attitash are some of the best available in the entire region. The ATP Fly Zone is one of the best parks in the state, providing different levels of boxes, rails, jumps, and tabletops for the ultimate set. The course changes on a consistent basis, allowing beginners, intermediates, and more advanced riders to fine-tune their skills at a constantly changing park. The park features two other parks, the West Slope Park with jibs and rails and the Illusion Park with a set of tabletops.

Out of Bounds

Those looking to get their feet wet in the world of snowboarding can turn to the Ski School. The school features a friendly and understanding staff that will get you from bunny hills to intermediate slopes quickly and easily. Some of the non-snowboarding activities you’ll find in the area include climbing, tubing, and ice skating.

Hangout & Hookup

There are plenty of different places located right on the amazing resort that will provide you with the grub and drinks you need to relax after killing it on the mountains. The Lion’s Den, Ptarmigans, and Crawford’s Pub and Grill are all options for those looking to go heavy on the stomach but light on the wallet.
