Cranmore Mountain Resort Ski Vacation Guide

As one of New England's top ski resorts, visitors to Cranmore have been returning for years, often generations of families have made this resort their home.

Ski Levels

The numbers are pretty impressive for an East Coast ski resort, including 54 trails spread out over 200 acres of land and a 2,000-foot summit. Trails are divided between all experience types, with a majority of trails for intermediate skiers (44 percent), but there are plenty for both beginner and advanced skiers and snowboarders. In addition, 11 of the trails stay open for night skiing. Riders will love the three terrain parks of varying difficulty levels to explore in the resort. The resort also has the capability of producing snow on one hundred precent of their trails and uses high efficiency snow guns throughout the resort. For those interested in mountain stats, you'll be happy to know the resort contains an indoor fitness center, indoor tennis court, snow tubing, and the mega Mountain Coaster.

Après Ski

Lodging can be found throughout the area, especially in North Conway, which has a plethora of different lodges, inns, and hotels. (Check out the many amazing ski and stay packages.)The resort has six restaurants, including The Beer and Brat, an affordable and relaxed après ski favorite. The nearby towns of North Conway and Bartlett offer cuisine from all over the world.

Rider’s Guide

This is a very snowboarder-friendly resort, and provides over 200 acres of impeccable terrain for boarders to shred. There are over 40 trails, seven glades, 10 lifts, and three terrain parks. The trails are evenly distributed for all experience levels, 13 beginner, 25 intermediate, and 16 advanced and expert, which includes sleigh trails and sleigh glades.

Parks and Pipes

There are three unique terrain parks with boxes, rails, and jumps that cater to all levels of experience. Darkside, is the most advanced terrain park on the mountain. The park has nearly 20 different set-ups to conquer and dominate. The Other Side is the simplest of the three parks, offering beginners small rails and boxes that help improve fundamental skills. The Lucky Loop Park is predominately an intermediate park with plenty of different jibs and jumps.

Out of Bounds

The resort also has a tubing park, an indoor fun zone, a family fitness center, indoor tennis courts, and offers night skiing on the weekends. The newest attraction is the Mountain Coaster, a rider-controlled adventure through thousands of feet of twisting and winding trails.

Hangout & Hookup

The Beer & Brat is a casual and relaxing pub that offers affordable meals and delicious ice cold brew. The resort also features a range of other dining options. The town of North Conway has a few places to eat and drink that are worth checking out. Lodging options are numerous and many places offer great ski and stay deals.
