Timberline Four Seasons Resort is widely considered an old favorite among skiers in West Virginia. Timberline features the longest trail in the South, The Salamander is over two miles long and spans nearly the 1,000 feet of vertical rise. The area also boasts 36 additional trails for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and experience levels to enjoy. Thirty-four percent of its runs are rated as beginner, 32 percent are rated as intermediate, and advanced and expert skiers can enjoy the remaining 34 percent. With 100 percent snowmaking ability in addition to the average snowfall of 200 inches a year Timberline Resort is a veritable winter paradise.

There are plenty of places to stay and play when vacationing at Timberline Resort, in part, because of its location in the million acre Monongahela National Forest and its proximity to other ski areas as well as the town of Davis, WV.
