Book a snowmobile tour with or without snow tubing. Rent your own snowmobile to drive, or take one of the scenic and action tours offered by High Country Tours. Select the Heeney Outpost tour, with its views of Rocky Mountain National Park, Rabbit Ears Range and Lower Cataract Lake, plus a stop for hot cocoa at "The Overlook" and a great hill for snow tubing, if you opt to do that too. When you go up, up, up to Leadville's Birdseye Outpost, you'll see the three tallest mountains in the Rockies, fourteen of Colorado's famed 14ers, Leadville's historic mining district, and several mountain ranges.
