Solitude Mountain Resort is in the Wasatch Mountains, 30 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, Utah. Solitude is a family-oriented mountain. It offers more variety of slopes for beginners and intermediate skiers than other nearby ski resorts. Fifty percent of the slopes are rated beginner or intermediate. It is the highest percentage of such slopes in the Salt Lake City area.
