Well-known people lived there like, Titanic survivor “the unsinkable Molly Brown,” Horace Tabor, Meyer Guggenheim, and others. The area is a well-preserved historic building district of Colorado. Victorian homes and turn of the century brick buildings line its main street. Visit the Main Street’s quaint coffee houses antique, gift and sport shops, or stop in one of the many dining options. Getting Here

The area is 100 miles from Denver and 130 miles from Colorado Springs and only 38 miles south of Vail. From Denver, simply take I70 west to CO 91 and head south for 20 miles or so. From Colorado Springs, enjoy the scenic Hwy 24 through Woodland Park and down the pass.
