As a fun game, every day the resort staff hide a plastic hot-pink flamingo around their 50 designated skiing and snowboarding trails and if you find Sweeps the Flamingo, you ski an extra day for free. What a great approach to keeping guests and locals excited and engaged! This is a perfect ski resort for skiers and snowboarders from all walks of life. The mountain provides a beautiful backdrop for the innumerable memories and experiences you’ll have while enjoying your vacation.
In addition to great skiing and boarding, the resort offers a variety of other top-notch amenities, such as ski lessons and ski and snowboard rental and repair services. A long day on the slopes requires some serious fuel. There are several places to dine, including three that are located on the mountain. Tallulah’s Tavern offers a bevy of après ski entertainment and drinks. The Pub offers delicious wood-fired pizzas and microbrews, while the Harvest is a fully operational cafeteria, providing a range of homemade favorites and ski classics all at affordable prices.
There is also an array of accommodation options located slope side, including a budget bunk house. Also, the nearby town of Danbury provides a classic New England setting for guests looking to stay in town. Danbury boasts beautiful historic inns and romantic bed and breakfasts, as well as a variety of shops that line its historic streets.
Located in the city of Danbury, the resort has a special access road that is about 20 minutes off of I-93 and 20 minutes off of Rt. 104. The resort is less than an hour from Manchester, NH’s airport and less than two hours from Logan International in Boston, Massachusetts.
