Mad River Glen

If quintessential Vermont is what you seek, look no further than Mad River Valley in northern Vermont. The region reflects over two centuries of cultivated farmland contrasted by the pine-green wooded slopes of the 3,975-foot General Stark Mountain. You will return year after year once you have experienced the warmth and charm of Fayston, Vermont.

Ski Mad River

Mad River has excellent expert terrain located in the “snow corner” of New England. The trails follow the natural bumps and contours of the mountain and lead to a single base area. While it’s not the most popular ski resort in the state (and that’s a good thing), it truly is one of the best for those seeking challenging and stimulating skiing and snowboarding.

Off the Slopes

The nearby towns of Waitsfield and Warren are picture-perfect New England towns, with iconic covered bridges and soaring church steeples that dot the idyllic Mad River landscape. Après ski and dining options abound in the Mad River Valley. Both rustic and romantic visitors will find a wide variety of dining experiences on and off the slope. Vermont is for lovers, so go ahead and fall in love with Mad River Valley. Mad River Glen provides some of the best skiing and boarding on the East Coast.
