With the lower altitude and close proximity to the ocean, Vancouver and Grouse Mountain maintain a mild winter climate most of the time. You'll still need to dress in layers and will want a light breathable waterproof outer shell, a hat that covers your ears and goggles.
Getting Here
Getting to Grouse Mountain couldn't be easier. Take the Seabus across to Lonsdale Quay, and then catch Bus 236 right on up to the mountain! Or if you're driving, Lion's Gate bridge to North Vancouver's Marine Drive, then left (north) up Capilano Road just over 3 miles, and you're there! Vancouver International Airport is huge and serviced by all major airlines, so getting to the city is easy and affordable.
