Boyne Mountain Resort

Two Ski Mountains for the Price of One

The area offers the largest vertical drop in Lower Michigan and trails over a mile long. There are eight terrain parks, each set up for different abilities. The resorts provide 850 acres of skiable terrain, and over 30-acres of combined free beginner skiing and snowboarding area. At Boyne Mountain, you'll find 415 skiable acres, 10 lifts, and 60 runs. Nearly 14 acres are set aside for the beginner skier and snowboarder, giving you plenty of room to learn. Schedule a lesson with the highly acclaimed SnowSports Academy. There are programs for kids and teens and group and private adult lessons. There’s a Guaranteed Learn to Ski or Ride lesson that includes all-day rental equipment and lessons to help you learn to turn and stop by the end of the day, you you get a free lesson. You can also spend the afternoon on their 750-foot tubing run  that consists of five lanes.

Off the Slopes

Boyne Mountain also has an all-season indoor waterpark that's kept at a comfortable 84 degrees and includes the Rip Zone, a surfing wave simulator. If you've ever wanted to try this warm-water board sport, check out Avalanche Bay. Also, there's the luxurious and relaxing Solace Spa to ease your body and quiet your mind after a ski day on the trails. For après ski, Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain each offer live music and the stage performances are topped off by award winning restaurants for dining experiences.
