Beech Mountain

At the resort, there is a wonderful 7,000-square-foot ice skating rink located in the center of the village. Shopaholics should head to Tanger Outlet Center Shoppes in Blowing Rock. There is also the Boone Mall and the historic Mast General Store in Valle Crucis.

For added convenience, there is bountiful slope-side lodging available and as an additional bonus, Beech offers many great specials on ski vacation packages with discounts on lodging, lift tickets, and more each season. The accommodations at Beech range from casual country inns and well-appointed condos to romantic mountainside chalets and rustic lodges. Getting Here

The resort is accessible from the Charlotte, Greensboro, and Tennessee airports, from there it is necessary to rent a car through one of the major companies. Beech Mountain Resort can be accessed from I-77, I-81, I-85, I-26 and I-40. The resort is located off of NC 184.
